CHARLIES'S LETTER
Hello boys
and girls!
In Good Luck Charlie, big sister records videos of the day's events for her sister Charlie. One day her camera broke and she couldn't record, so she decided to write her sister a letter of the day.
THE LETTER:
Hello Charlie!
I couldn't film today
because my camera broke and I can't go and buy one until tomorrow morning. So,
I decided to write you today in a letter.
We
got up early today because we had a barbecue with the neighbours next door. We
helped mum and dad to prepare the food and drinks that we were going to take to
the neighbours' house.
I am
very nervous because I have invited my boyfriend Spencer to the barbecue. I
hope PJ and Gabe will be good and not embarrass me.
We're
leaving now, I'll tell you later.
Good
night Charlie!
We
just got back from the barbecue. As you know your brothers have been
embarrassing me a lot. We were playing board games together and since PJ and
Gabe are very competitive they got into a fight and threw the tomato that mom
had prepared at each other and hit Spencer.
What
an embarrassment Charlie. You'll see when you introduce your partner into the
family.
Good luck Charlie!

A wonderful activity to work on reading comprehension. In my opinion, working on reading comprehension is fundamental to be able to understand a language well and if you use a series that is aimed at children, it is a way to increase their motivation since reading about something they like will not be difficult for them. The proposed activity is very appropriate.
ResponderEliminarAmazing activity Mirari!
ResponderEliminarI think the activity of reading comprehension passages and answering questions is an excellent way to enhance reading skills. It provides students with the opportunity to engage with authentic texts, practice their comprehension strategies, and develop their ability to extract meaning from written material.
Additionally, the variety of passages available allows for differentiation based on students' interests and reading levels, ensuring that each student is appropriately challenged and supported in their reading development. Moreover, the inclusion of questions encourages active engagement with the text, prompting students to think critically and reflect on what they have read. Overall, I believe this activity is highly effective for improving reading proficiency and fostering a love for reading in students.
